ANXIETY-DEPRESSION-PCOD-PCOS

Ah, who is not aware of these words in 21st century. Why are these words so common to hear? Why are they taken so lightly? Are these all light issues? Are these mental issues? Is it mental instability? So many questions, so many theories and so many man-made wrong theories too.

I would like to share my knowledge about all these based on my personal experiences and my practices to help myself. This article is written with main focus on the “solution to these problem”.

Now next question might be, why am I covering all these topics together? Is the solution same for all? Well, answer is Yes. Extreme anxiety leads to Depression and Depression might lead to PCOD/PCOS to women.

I would like to give brief about Depression and Anxiety first. See, generally these two terms are misunderstood and people consider them same but Depression is much more serious. That’s why there are depression pills to cure such state. Anxiety is the state where the sufferer feels low, under-confident, and they stay in negativity whenever they are all on themselves. But then when they are between people, or when they are between positive surroundings they start feeling good. So the state of negativity hits when they get alone and their mind gets free to think. That’s the reason such people are suggested to stay more between people or keep themselves busy.

While depression is negativity making home within person. Sufferer is living it for 24hrs. Sufferer has lost the clarity about illusion and reality. It is not mental illness. It is rather mental condition. It breaks sufferer to the extreme, to such extreme that sufferer might start believing himself as worst person on the planet and such thoughts lead to thoughts of suicide too. The thoughts as failure are at peak. It is such situation where the sufferer is in his own dark hole even while being at the most beautiful place and with most beautiful people.

When women go through such situations it leads to hormonal imbalance and harm which directly impacts their ovaries and that leads to PCOD/PCOS. There are few other reasons too leading to PCOD/PCOS like improper diet, heavy schedules and extreme work load but then, I personally believe that every disease gets the power to harm mainly because of disturbed mental health.

Before getting further towards the main stream, i.e the reason why I am writing this article, I would like to clarify that I am no medical professional nor do I have professional knowledge about this area. What all I am writing is completely based on my personal practices and few things what my doctors had guided me.

I will request all the sufferers to keep faith in themselves. Stay positive and please follow every point suggested below Ritually.

1-    Stop treating yourself as sufferer;-

Stop treating yourself as patient. Do not keep on thinking about it. More you think, more it will impact. Just stay normal with yourself. Whenever you get thoughts about your situation, speak this to yourself, ”It’s Okay! It’s Alright! I am already doing well.” This will generate positivity within you and help you heal faster.

2-    Practice spirituality:-

When I say spirituality, it means lot more then religious beliefs and practices. Spirituality means getting connected to oneself. For that, meditation is MUST. Start meditating. It is difficult in beginning but then once you start feeling the peace, calmness and powers of it, there will not be even a single day you’ll skip meditation. Self connection is the ultimate step to get correct vision of what is right and what is wrong.

Don’t know how to start meditating? See, there is no strict method for meditating, so don’t be scared or harsh on yourself. There are many amazing YouTube channels which have given in depth knowledge on meditation and they have also taught various ways to do it. Here are few links which I use to follow!

Along with that, also practice affirmations. Affirmations help to regain self confidence by shifting the focus on what you already have in your bucket. Here is my favorite link for practicing affirmations

3-    Early to Bed Early to Rise keeps Man Healthy Wealthy and Wise;-

This habit is equally non-negotiable to other points stated. Sleep late to late by 10;30 pm. Practice it until it becomes habit. I know it is easy to say and difficult to do especially when your head is overcrowded with so many negative thoughts. I used to face this issue to the extend that I had almost turned to insomniac. I started listening to Shri Bhagwat Gita before going to bed and it did miracles to my sleeping schedule. So, read something helpful or listen to something from religion  you follow or something spiritual when you try to sleep. It helps a lot.

Make your wakeup routine early. Wake up between 5-6am. Morning vibes are important to catch. Wake up, feel the morning beauty. Move in open area, look at sky, feel the cool air, watch sunrise. These little things make you feel fresh and beautiful.

*It is very important to take at least 7-8hrs of sleep. 

4-    Exercise and Yoga :-

Having PCOD/PCOS requires your body to exercise daily. Weight control becomes so important. Along with that, exercising generates positive chemicals in your brains and also your body feels energetic. Having too much negativity in our head drains all the energy without any kind of physical or mental hard-workor efforts. That’s the reason why depressed people tend to not leave their bed. So exercising benefits you both the ways; it generates positive thoughts and also make body very energetic. Exercise daily for at least 40minutes. I’ll strongly recommend to do  Surya Namaskar also.

5-    Food;-

Someone rightly said, ”What you eat is What you Think.” There are some very strict points I’ll order (yes, I am ordering you) to follow for at least three months:

·        SAY NO TO PACKET FOODS

·        SAY NO TO ALL SUCH FOODS WHICH ARE NOT HOME COOKED FOOD

·        SAY NO TO POTATOES

·        SAY NO TO DEEP FRIED FOOD

·        SAY NO TO WHITE FLOUR (MAIDA) AND ALSO WHOLE WHEAT IF POSSIBLE AS IT IS BIT HEAVY

·        Do not eat anything from 7pm  to 8am (i.e intermittent fasting going hand in hand with nature)

·        Do fasting for atleast 2days a week , i.e have proper meal during lunch but have only fruits and milk for other parts of day

·        Schedule your meal timings and eat at same time everyday.

*P.S- You can have Dark Chocolate. Now smile;)

Just a suggestion- Follow ayurvedic treatment for medication of PCOD/PCOS.

Counselors and Psychologists :- Take professional help . Yes, it is important. Take professional help please. I belong to country where people are yet not open to mental health care, so help of Counselors or Psychologist are treated as something severe. But it is pointless to focus on thoughts of society wait or their acceptance. They don’t even bother. You need help so go to good Counselor in your city and take the help. They listen to you just like friend and will help you open your vision so that you yourself start figuring out everything in life.

Do not wait for others to accept your problem as “problem”. Do not consider others when they weight your problem relating whether it is big or small. You’ll always get mixed responses. It is problem for you to the extent it is impacting your body and that is enough!

All these solutions are beneficial for all people suffering from any of the four groups. Last I would like to say, Stay Happy, you are already doing Better and one day, you will do Best.
